Q : How Many Participants will attend the Wachtervision-live Workshop?
A : All Workshops are held to a maximum of 18 participants for exceptional quality and learning.
Q : Should I bring my own digital card (s) or film to the Wachtervision-live Workshop?
A : Yes, however we do provide film or digital cards.
Q : Are cameras provided?
A : Yes, This shoot it would be nice to bring your digital camera, however we can provide you with a digital camera.
Q : Should I bring my own camera?
A : Yes, being familiar with your own camera saves time and allows you to expand your creativity.
Q : Can I bring my Film Camera?
A : Yes, film cameras are allowed. However, digital lighting exposures and film speed settings may be different. If you are using a film camera make sure your bring film with a ISO of 100, because the end results can differ and can require additional time to correct lighting calculations that can take away from other participants. However If you do not have film rated at ISO of 100 and need to know your correct exposure, Carl will tell you ONCE the correct light
reading for your film camera.
Q : Will I have time to socialize?
A : Yes, You will have time during the workshop to share personal and creative ideas with the Wachtervision Staff, Models and Fellow Participants, especially during lunch. Questions about the topics are answered by Carl during the Workshops.
Q : Is lunch provided by the Wachtervision-Live Workshop?
A : Carl Wachters Wachtervision-Live Workshop sign inns are between 9:00 and 9:30am, coffee and healthy condiments are offered at this time. A gourmet lunch is provided from 1pm to 2pm.
Q : What is the weather like in Southern California?
A : California has moderate weather all year round, however you may want to bring a sweater or jacket for the evening hours. Temperatures can change quite rapidly.
Q : Will I need to rent a car?
A : Yes, It would be a great idea. The location is in downtown Los Angeles in a actual car studio. Arrangements can be made to provide you with transportation to and from the shoot.
